HIDE AND SEEK

How can you protect your kids if you can't even defend yourself?

Isn't true art is motivated by feeling, beauty, and emotion?

What aims do artists pursue in human nature? What does it look like in its purest form? And is it possible to experience it without going to the "wilderness"?

What connection exists between the text and the image? Does text diminish aesthetics? Does aesthetics lessen political content?

It didn't matter if the images or words were true or not; what mattered was that it raised issues. This comment really struck a chord with me since it feels like artists who produce political art are expected to have the solutions, and when they don't, they are mocked.

People fail to understand how is a naked kid "Art" and why does it look splendid? Is this what good "Art" has descended into? It looks more to people like child pornography or normalizing molestation.

If there will be any rating to this artwork, and polities look into the art, the communications of such artwork via social media etc., protecting young and innocent children. We can't hide crime behind Art - That is the bottom line.

Many people who have engaged in online sexual behaviour involving children believe that there is a ‘grey area’ between legal and illegal.

Privacy is your personal information and how you allow it to be accessed and viewed. In contrast, security is the protection of this data and information. With security, the goal is to safeguard your data and information, often through cybersecurity products and measures.

We get this question a lot. Parents are often left feeling helpless after realising about their child’s abuse, which only adds to the heartbreak. As a parent of a child who has been sexually abused, your role of protector never goes away.

Typically, parents are responsible for notifying the appropriate authorities and providing them with a thorough account of the abuse that had place.

It is crucial that the authorities are aware of the who, what, where, when, and how of the abuse, but frequently, a traumatized youngster who has been assaulted is unable to recall everything. Parents must also accept the possibility that they might not be able to support their child entirely on their own. The parents and the child who has been sexually assaulted will aid from speaking with therapists and counselors who are trauma-informed.

In a ethical debate on child sexual abuse an allegation of a serious criminal offence was made in a situation of assumed confidentiality.

1- Revealed child abuse (physical or sexual) is rarely an isolated occurrence, and perpetrators tend to escalate their activities with time.

2- Sexual abuse of children is a personality disorder which does not spontaneously resolve and is refractory to intervention.

3- If these allegations are true, other children may have been or may still be being abused.

Art is precisely the medium of events that expose that child abuse (physical or sexual) is rarely isolated, presenting to the public that sexual abuse of children is a mental disorder that does not resolve spontaneously and is difficult to intervene. At the same time, we can't ignore that the parents of the child victims are also related victims - how can they help themselves? The parents of child victims are a group that is often overlooked by public opinion, and there is little platform to speak up for them.

What of parents’ best interests? It is difficult to take life decisions which are for the best in the long term but which will precipitate extreme short term difficulties.

The prospects of resolving this without addressing the underlying psychodynamics are poor. Their obstacle to disclosure is the real fear of further psychological difficulties. Victims of child abuse need help in coming to full disclosure. Did society/community inform parents of the support and therapeutic options which could help them to cope and recover after disclosure?

Parents' privacy can overlap with their children's privacy, therefore violating one equalise to violate the privacy of a family. Physical and mental abuse of children are both considered forms of abuse, although psychological injury, particularly collateral damage, is frequently neglected in discussions of societal concerns.

Argentina, Children Hospital, (1986-1988) by Adriana Lestido

In order to chronicle the daily life of children in hospitals in Argentina, Adriana Lestido produced this report over the course of two years.

Immersed in the world of hospitals, it catches the image of these kids in their privacy and seclusion while watching the connections they have with one another rather than displaying their pain or disease.

Argentina's Buenos Aires was the place of Adriana Lestido's birth in 1955. She earned a degree in photography before working as a photojournalist for Argentine newspapers for fifteen years, from 1980 to 1995. Since the beginning of her work, photography has served as a tool for understanding interpersonal relationships. Adriana Lestido is regarded as a leading figure in Argentine culture and has dedicated her life to advancing women's rights.

Adriana Lestido views photography as an adjunct to her life, her study of society, and her experience as a woman in a sexist culture.

She plans slow-moving undertakings that critically examine the environment in which she lives. She sets up methods for examining daily life that reveal reality and necessitate photography to evaluate events, whether it be the predicament of women in prison or the bond between mothers and daughters.

She records the intense moments of interpersonal interactions, which she later structures as narratives to help make sense of a scenario, place the pertinent concerns, and highlight the ramifications. She is fervently convinced of the need for present-focused documentary photography in black and white and has a genuine humility about what she deals with. She concentrates on growing challenges that cannot be understood without considering their social context. Through specific anecdotes, she raises questions about the state of the world on a broad scale.
